Headteachers & Deputies - Finance Modular Training-Module 4 - Schools & Academies - Budget Planning & Monitoring

Designed with Headteachers and senior leadership in mind, this module aims to give delegates an in-depth knowledge of why financial budgeting is important within a school and how it can be achieved in a realistic manner. Delegates will be guided through the school budget setting process using a practical demonstration, and introduced to relevant financial tools that are available to assist them in confidently setting a school budget.

The course also introduces budget monitoring and reporting and how to interpret system generated reports.

This course will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams.

Learning outcomes: You will leave this course with an in-depth knowledge of the budget process, the confidence to monitor the budget and report on the school's financial position.
